Sunless Tanning – A Safe Alternative to Sun Tanning

In my opinion, sunless tanning has become a more reliable alternative to habitual sunbathing. I am going to present, in a few words, how the sunless tanning products work, what are their risks and how it is possible to get an even perfect suntan using them.

The way I see it, in order to accomplish a good natural tan, you have to choose between the old fashion way and expose your skin to the dangerous sun rays or you can try a different approach and start using best self tanning products.

The sunless tanning items are also called self-tanners have the advantage that they can replace the effect of hours sitting in the sun rays and give you the ultimate tan. The reason is simple, their effect is easier to control and it can be adjusted to your skin tone saving you from using sun screen lotions and uneven marks left on your body.

However, although they are considered to be safe, there are still some precautions that need to be taken into account, depending on your body and the way you are using the products against it.

products come in different sizes and shapes, starting from lotions, gels, sprays, or creams. Usually, they are all based on the same chemical compound called DHA.

The way this ingredient works is simple: the DHA reacts against the dead cells that are found in the upper layer of your skin, turning them dark for a short period. The advantage is that this color is not being washed off but it will disappear gradually, as the dead cells are being replaced by fresh new cells. Usually, the tone lasts for a couple of days, between five to seven days.
